Jacob's surgery

Today Jacob had surgery to fix his left arm. The previous surgery appears to have left his arm with an infection, thus it would not heal. They cleaned out the wound, put antibiotic pellets in it, and plated it again. They sent samples off to see what bacteria they might grow. They are keeping him overnight, they will then install a picc line. We will use this line to deliver IV antibiotics to him for 6 weeks. After which time, we hope to see some healing in the arm. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
