Tilly Jane Cabin Trail, Cooper Spur Oregon.
Saturday morning Kam, Max (her dog), Emma (my dog) and I hiked up to the historic snow shoe/cross country cabin. It was a challenging uphill that was 3 miles in length with a 3000 foot gain. It took us 2 hours up and 50 minutes down. We were able to see Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens on the way down. It was quite warm too, getting close to 40F.
The funniest thing we saw was group of people dragging a keg up the cabin. Hilarious! They made it up and I am sure they were heroes that night by the wood fire!
The photo shown here was taken by someone else a couple of years ago but it looks just like the cabin. Although the snow level was up to the 2nd story porch yesterday! Hood has had tons of snow.

Okay, it is only a 1200 foot gain, just felt like 3000 feet!
